Dr. Brent Kay

Dr. Brent W. Kay, M.D., created The World Champion Standard through 30+ years of medical and athletic experience as physician, coach, and competitor to over 100 World Champion athletes. Dr. Kay is former Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University and remains double-board certified in Internal and Sports Medicine.

As founder and CEO of OUCH Sports Medicine and OUCH Pro Cycling, Dr. Kay carries the legacy of 5 OLYMPIC MEDALS, 9 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES, and 2 WORLD RECORDS. Dr. Kay himself holds a Silver Medal from the 2022 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships and was a 2010 USA Cycling Elite National Champion.

Dr. Brent W. Kay, M.D., boasts an impressive array of achievements in both
the medical and athletic fields:

  • Medical Expertise: Double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Sports Medicine, with over 30 years of experience.
  • Leadership: CEO of OUCH Sports Medical Center, and former Assistant Professor of Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center.
  • Athletic Excellence: A decorated athlete with multiple World Championship medals, including a Silver Medal at the 2022 UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships as well as 2010 USA Cycling Elite National Champion.
  • Team Success: Directed OUCH Pro Cycling to 5 Olympic medals, 9 World Championship titles, and 2 World Records.
  • Community Impact: Recognized as Physician of the Year by the Riverside County Medical Association for his outstanding contribution to the community.
